Artificial Intelligence Simplified
I bought this book in an airport a few years ago and never really had the time to read it until the last few days. It was a mistake because this book is particularly easy to read and succeeds in the tour de force consisting in getting into complex subjects like neural networks or distributed architectures by simplifying them. When things get difficult, the author does not hesitate to use tables or illustrations that would have probably helped me when I read other books on the same subject.
Even though this book is now almost three years old, it still seems to me to be precise, brilliantly documented and, above all, very exhaustive. The chapters deal with both technical and vertical subjects - what are the variables of a neural network, what is the field of application in crypto... - as well as more metaphysical subjects - is the consciousness of machines close?... A book that we will recommend particularly to those who are dedicated to an activity directly linked to this universe. Engineers who do not yet have a background in AI, for example, will certainly find many essential resources in this book.
